Lions support school Trim Trail Project.

Members of Chipping Sodbury Lions Club visited the Ridge Junior School recently to present a cheque to Headmaster Mr David Beeley for £500 to help pay for their newly created Trim Trail. This followed a request from the Friends of School for financial support which the Lions were very pleased to assist with.

The Trim Trail, designed by the children themselves, is set in the school grounds and consists of a series of apparatus on which the children can have both supervised exercise and fun.

Brian Hardy of the Lions Club said that requests for support for these types of local school projects that directly affect the educational and physical well being of the children are always given careful consideration and assistance where possible by the Club.

Lions Club members Brian Fletcher, Brian Hardy and John Davis attended to present the cheque to Mr David Beeley and members of the school council.
