The Llynfi Valley has a long tradition of Male Voice Choirs
and Côr Meibion Maesteg a’r Cylch (Maesteg and District Male Choir) is proud
to uphold this tradition. Since its inception in 1974 the Choir has given
immense pleasure to thousands of people at home and abroad, as well as
raising a tremendous amount of money for charity.
There is no better feeling than returning home by coach to
South Wales in the early hours of the morning, feeling tired, but exuberant
in the wake of another successful concert. Left behind is a happy audience,
satisfied organisers and a charity or deserving cause with a large amount of
money in its funds.
This has been repeated hundreds of times in the past 30
years of the existence of the Maesteg and District Male Voice Choir and we
are all proud and honoured to be involved in the activities. |
